Mark Crossley who can boast that he is the only goalkeeper to stop a Matthew Le Tissier penalty kick has lots of stories to tell from his Forest days; such as his Sunday League debut for Brian Clough’s son, also how Brian dealt with Vinnie Jones
Mark is an up and coming speaker on the circuit and comes highly recommended not least for his spot-on impression of Cloughie and the many tales he recounts of working under the great man.
If you want a taste of the hilarious stories he recalls about Brian Clough try listening to the podcast ‘Under the Cosh’ which can be found here. Warning there is some very strong language!
To start the night off we have a local Nottingham Duo The Face Acoustic who you may have seen on the circuit, they are a fantastic couple of lads who have supported us in the past and have had rave reviews, pop over to their Facebook group and have a listen.

Had an excellent evening with Mark Crossley, who arrived well before the evening really got started to meet a number of the guests before the event got underway. A very nice touch.
He went onto tell many very funny stories of his footballing career and everyone said how much they had enjoyed Mark on the night.
Best I’ve ever seen, very funny and down to earth
Worsbrough Bridge AFC recently had the pleasure of welcoming Mark Crossley to be our guest for our first ever sportsman event. Having heard good reviews about Mark it was a pleasure to hear him talk about his experiences, most notably playing for the legendary Brian Clough. Brilliantly entertaining and funny and would highly recommend, even if it is just to hear his impression of Cloughie it was almost like having the great man back with us. A great evening enjoyed by all”
