Forest to Amsterdam
For the past three years we’ve ridden as part of a team riding from the UK to Amsterdam in order to raise money for Prostate Cancer UK. Over this period the team has raised in excess of £70k for the charity. This year we have a new target to take the fundraising total over £100k and are looking for local companies to help us achieve this total.
This year we’re riding as part of an official Nottingham Forest team and so far have over 30 riders as part of our team including ex-forest players Steve Chettle and BBC Radio Nottingham’s Mark Dennison who is also the stadium announcer and the City Ground.
We’re looking for local companies to sponsor our team and wondered if your business would be interested in supporting us?
Forest 2 Amsterdam are proud to offer you the opportunity of exclusive kit sponsorship for the Football 2 Amsterdam ride this June.
The ride will see some of our team leave the day before the big ride from the world famous City Ground in Nottingham, heading for the steel city, Sheffield where the official day one of the ride begins. Over 30 ‘Forest 2 Amsterdam’ team members will ride the 145 miles over two days in aid of Prostate Cancer UK, completing our ride in the Dutch capital, Amsterdam on Saturday 6th June.
At this point we have raised a staggering £22,000 towards our team target of £50,000.
As kit sponsor, you’ll receive
* Exclusive company logo on the front and back of the cycle jersey
* Promotion on the Sheffield to Amsterdam and London to Amsterdam Routes
* Promotion via our website and social media channels
* Promotion on the teams banner with photo opportunities throughout the ride
* Photo opportunity with the riders at your HQ in full kit
* Photo opportunity pitch side at the city ground (exact details tbc)
* A framed team kit, bearing your company logo
Why a Nottingham Forest team?
Firstly our main objective is to raise awareness around the early signs for the detection of Prostate Cancer – Nottingham Forest allows a great platform to promote this. Prostate Cancer is also a chosen charity for Nottingham Forest.
Prostate Cancer is the highest diagnosed cancer within men and in the UK. 1 in 8 men will be diagnosed with Prostate Cancer and sadly on average, 1 man dies every 45 minutes – the worst part is, if detected early, Prostate Cancer is very treatable. The more people we can highlight this to, the more lives we can collectively help to save.
